As this forum included psychology, I shall ask: What makes a man (or woman) want to be eaten alive by another person?

I remember a story from two Germans.. I think first, they cut of his penis, then they cooked it, and this guy was tied up or something, I don't know. But according to the eater, he said something along the lines of "my dear friend enjoyed being eaten".

I also by chance came across a site where a guy showed his penis in one pic. Then he tied up with tape, then the text below said "Bah, I don't need it", then he cut of his penis and played with it! What makes a person do this???

I read the story of the German guys. The man being eaten was very heavily drugged and the man doing the eaten was seriously deranged. He met up with the guy on an online forum or something, the guy answered a personal ad. My assumption was that he was a lonely homosexual who was ready end it, but got a bit twisted in his depression. I don't know that there are enough documented cases of this in whch the subject was studied before being eaten, and obviously this can't be experimented with, therefore, we may never know what it is that drives people to want to be eaten.

i think that in a perfect world eating another person should be accepted. i dont mean killing someone then eating them i mean if a person is dead instead of cremating that person (i dont believe in burial as it takes up good land) why not eat them? i mean it would help dispose of the body and gives people an easy meat supply as people are dying all the time! i will say yet again though i do not believe in murduring someone for food just eating them when they are already dead.

seems a bit sketchy to me. There'd be a bit of dilema with eating those having died of natural causes or diseases. You'd be left with victims of accidents, violent crimes, and non-toxic suicides. Chuck them into the woods, let nature run it's course.

I don't know, there are a bunch of crazy people out there: people who like eating feces, people who enjoy having sex with dead people, people who are attracted to shoes, and so on. Personally, I don't see much of a point in trying to find out why these weirdos do what they do.

alcaeos i agree that liking children is weird but eating shit or drinking piss isnt weird! it is not as if it is hurting anyone (it is not really anyone who isnt involveds buissness) as long as these things are kept private i have no problem with it. we have no right telling people how they can live their lives that is reactionary.

How's about the fact tat 8% of urine is actually toxic and will poison you if consumed? Or the fact that feces are loaded with all sorts of wonderful diseases such as E Coli, potentially dysyntery, fecal coliform, and other such unpleasantries. These things hurt and kill people, and are contractable by eating feces.

(the urine factoid is to be credited to Les Stroud as I saw it on Survivorman today)

Are you a fool? People cannot have complete and total freedom to do anything and everything they please, would you allow a serial killer to kill? of course not, but this would require you to infringe on their freedom to kill, and nor would you allow someone to go and dump sewage and garbage into a stream etc.
The idea of turning people into a food source is very repugnant to me, it lowers humans to the level of a farm animal, and dishonors the memory of the deceased by turning them into dinner.

As far as I am aware, eating your own species can be toxic.

Apparently, on the urine issue, there are people who actually drink their own urine on a daily basis because they say it has health benefits.

yeah but what right do we have to stop people eating shit or drinking piss? remember trying to control people and making them act "morally" and "appropriately" to unwritten "rules" is policing behaviour and ultimately reactionary. and if it hurts them so what they are the ones who decided to eat/drink it we have no right to stop them! and surely eating someone who is already dead is not hurting anyone. i mean it is not like you killed that person to eat them because that would be unacceptable.

That seems to be an anti-materialist position to take. Just because you get the willies thinking about it doesn't mean that it couldn't be useful. What does it matter to the dead person what happens to their flesh? They aren't going heaven, and if they end up going into the ground, it will be maggots and bacteria that will be doing all the dishonoring of the deceased. What's the problem with harvesting their body for organs to improve other people's lives and their flesh (if it was safely edible) for consumption?
