Absoute bollocks, anyone who trusts the right-wing media and the Dublin special banch are idiots. Criminals have €10,000 on his head,if that was me id have no problem torturing someone to find out who has the hit.

The right-wing media sometimes has to tell the truth though. Only an idiot rejects everything that's covered in the bourgeois media. This isn't the first time that the INLA have come up in criminality or paramilitary activity. Is it really just the work of slander and the bourgeois media or is there some truth in it? Is Irish capitalism really that afraid of the IRSP/INLA? I wouldn't genuinely doubt it. I know plenty of people who are well aware of the role of the INLA where they live. Crazily enough, supposed left-wing groups and parties have also told lies and denied the truth too.

Regardless of whether he has a price on his head, does this show that the INLA are still involved in paramilitary activity?

I agree, but when you take into consideration the particular rag this story was printed in and the fact that they are getting their "information" from the very same section of the Branch that wants to squash the rise of the IRSP you tend to be wary of what they print.

Indeed,Declan Duffy has bein subjected to slander aftrer slander since his release from prison. The INLA are ofcourse involved in paramilitary activity, they are a paramilitary organisation after all. The seized drugs from a drug dealer in Derry i think it was few months ago and brought them to the media to see them being destroyed. But you wont get the rags printing this story would you?

There is bound to be some truth, but it gets twisted to suit their needs.

I know plenty of people who are well aware of the role of the INLA where they live.

The IRSP has openly said it would love to hear who these people supposedly are through email or whatever but sadly nobody backs up their accusations with concrete evidence. A drug dealer got his brains blown out in the 6 counties recently because he was using the INLA name, now as far as i know there may be some people up to the same trick in Dublin and the INLA in dublin might not be strong enough to assasinate them, but if your willing to pm me information i would pass it on without mentioning your name,i dont think this will happen though because its always bullshit.

I'll post some links to where you can find out a bit more information on whats realy going on,these are posts from actual erps and one link is of a recent article which declan duffy and the IRSP gave statements. It would do well to listen to both sides of the argument i think,i personally would walk away from supporting the IRSP if they were involved in drugs,im not an apologist, just honestly coudlnt see it for a second that they would touch drugs because of the hassle they have had in the past with so called members who went awol. Since the ta power document has been taken on board they have clearly steered the movement into a more revolutionary and political path.

Tabloid article with IRSP and Declan Duffy small contribution.

The below post was from the UTR web forum and was posted by an IRSP member,it was in relation to an incident in a Dublin bar which the media had also blamed on the IRSP.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the record, the tapes of the above incident show quite clearly several members of PSF in the company of well known drug dealers, the druggies and the SF's attacked a lone IRSP member and other IRSP members arrived at the scene, one druggie and one SF'r were hospitalised. The tapes are bound to be an embarassment to the Shinners as their men are clearly seen drinking and back slapping with the druggies. The hospitalised druggie recently beat a £1 million worth of heroin charge. These are facts.

I think since the beginning of the republican unity project which is still in its infancy there has been a big assault on those groups involved by both the state and the media. The state might not be that afraid at the moment but they defiantly are worried at the potential which is there if this does in fact get off the ground.
