I am trying to write a book on marxism and am looking for comments. the basic layout is about the fall of heavy industry, the workers in Marxs' time and the rise of present day consumer/light industry and service industry, something that did not exist in Marxs' day. I also talk about the arts under a theroical communist government, and how they would be supported by the gov. Free books to those who help! All proceeds will be given to charity or something.

For one, why not point out that in Marx's time, laborers had it horrendously worse than those today, and that Marxism has evolved into more of an educated movement, meaning that the goals of many communist parties is to educate the people, not to found revolutions...yet.

That is a great point. I assume you're talking about the west, becasue many factories in the 3rd world look just like factories from the eigthteenith century, expect now the factory owner has thugs with aks,

Yeah, but in much of the third world, factories are little more than tin buildings with an assebly line and guards.
