On the third of February, 2006 The Seattle Times said The White House said Thursday that it plans to ask Congress for an additional $70 billion to pay for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, driving the cost of military operations in the two countries to $120 billion this year, the highest ever. But today, the 7th of August 2007, the cost of the War in Iraq reached 450 BILLION U.S. Dollars!

On the 5th of August 2007 the Death Toll alone (not including wounded) was 3962 US and UK troops alone! (unfortunately I could not find the deaths of other US allies or Iraqi civilians and soldiers due to the American Governments self-centeredness, but thats just my opinion, there may be another reason).

My sources which are on the site say it's the "Cost of the War in Iraq" but from what I figure is they are using a program to plug an equation that has been given by someone who has researched the situation as the average rate the war will rise by. (if that makes sence) The site I used has been known, thought to show its opinion, to research their facts quite well and get quality sources.
