The movie isn't pro-riot. At best, its in support of the liberals blocking the street, but it is definitely pro-cop and makes it appear as though all of the trouble was instigated by anarchists (the bad guys) and the police HAD to step in to restore order.

If you find it, the book 'the battle of seattle' is very good, it's basically a collection of articles written on the subject, representing a wide range of views.
