It seems like I hardly know anyone here now. I was offline for a while and have other online commitments. I am admin with www.endofempire.org (http://www.endofempire.org) which is a newssheet with editorials and poems. We play chess and turn up at the odd meeting.
There is very little we like on the left and it is far too timid for our liking, if anything
we are the real opposition. Its getting like we think that everbody has been psy-oped by the secret services. It is either that or very poor thinking.(hmm there is always the slight possibility that I am mistaken, very unlikely though)
I like it here, always have, it is a privilege to be part of such a large collection of thought provoking people.
I miss the ones who have gone but then again there is always the new and the experience of new struggles.
I am presently involved in the community based strugles against masts and I am concerned that this might be related to the disappearrance of blllions of bees from the planet which is already causing mass crop failures. This gone unchecked could end our very existence, and puts global warming in the shade as a global issue.
I am still very much an antiwar person but I find the antiwar movement next to useless. I wonder if I am paranoid enough to believe that there might be secret service involvement. No, the government is too busy falsely imprisoning so-called terror suspects.
I hope the US/UK force leave Iraq soon and the lay off Iran or do a new 9/11 type attack and blame it on Iran.
I hope I can integrate with this bb again and bring some of the knowledge in my fairly experienced brain, which honestly has been a little fried by being 30 odd years on the left. Good luck to you all.
