View Full Version : Nazi Supermarket

There is a regular group of guys that come to a local supermarket when I buy some food. When a first seen them, I just thought of them as punks. As They got closer, its seemed more strange. Black clothes, German military boots circa 1944 with spiked on the shins, either shaved head or dyed blue or green. When they walked past me I seen something that angered me very much. Swastikas on their arms and celtic cross on their arms or necks. What can I do so they cannot spread their ways?
Whats happening to this city?

They were shopping for food, but I could hear them talking about something, I heard the words "white power" and the "N word" once or twice. I was 20 feet away from them, so I'm sure a few people heard them.

Well, that isn't exactly spreading hate in the supermarket, they were just overheard. If they were screaming white power or insulting non-whites in the supermarket, then they'd be spreading hate.
I think that they should just be left alone to avoid unnecassary conflict. If they begin "spreading the hate" as previously indicated, then necassary action should be taken.

Identify and find them when they are not at the store, and deal with it out in the street. Notify AFA, get images of them, and if you work the check out line, try to get there ID and get there info.

Write a protest against the supermarket, invoke Godwin's law and put the ultimatum that either the owners of the supermarket should boycott nazis from shopping, or the "people" will put up a boycott against the supermarket in questions.

I don't see their threat unless they are openly agitating; if they are passing out flyers, physically flexing their message through violence and threats, then I do see a problem. If you simply pass them at the supermarket, maybe you could try to engage them in a discussion about their clothing and what you feel it represents. I am sure that passer-bys, that felt the same sentiments that you had but were contented in not getting confrontational, might even join in and realize how they truly our filth from a different light.

Passer-bys don't care, and the chances of them actually doing anything when they see you talking to neonazis are almost non-existent.

I don't think it would be a wise decision to confront a group of unknown Fascists who could potentially cause some harm to the original poster. But as you said, if others joined in then I wouldn't see a problem besides the fact that there could be a better time and place for it. But thats up to the confronter I suppose.

Swastikas on their arms and celtic cross on their arms or necks.
I really don't think the swastika or celtic crosses are bad. What is bad is that white idiots use these to make a connection to fascism, in effect defecating on old and wonderful symbols.
In India swastika is used on letters. It is supposed to bring good luck. The swastika is not a bad symbol; it is a good symbol.

If you see a white guy who has it along with celtic crosses and other symbols stolen by the nazis, I think it's safe to assume that he is a nazi. In India the swastika doesn't have that connotation, but in the west it certainly does and he should know better if he isn't a nazi.

wasnt the celtic cross stolen by the fash from gaelic Irish/Scots tradition?
Its one of those icons that need to be 'taken back' much like the hindus are doing with the swastika.

Isn't the use of the Swastika illegal in central Europe? or is it only when used in a right wing fashion? please inform.... :)
From what I know the swastika is illegal in most European countries, no matter what. I remember seeing some photos of Nazi officers with their swastika armband filled so that it looked like 4 squares.

Are they *really Nazis* are just run-of-the-mill fanboys? It occurs to me that the vast majority of those who are passing themselves off as Nazis have no clue as to their own history- when did ANY Nazi EVER dress or act like that?
I'd much rather be dealing with someone who is a True Believer in what they espouse as opposed to someone who uses the symbology for mere shock value.
The same applies to those who throw on a hammer-and-sickle T-shirt, or a Che shirt- just because it's soooooo radical and cool. If memory serves me correctly, neither Marx nor Lenin EVER wore a hammer-and-sickle shirt.
The principal thought in a line I read about the KKK can certainly be applied here; the person wrote, "It's not the Klan members in white sheets and burning crosses that scare me- it's the ones wearing three-piece suits sitting in corporate boardrooms that REALLY scare me." Think about it- who is truly the one to watch for?

I can think of a few times when Nazis dress like that - it's usually when they're out on the streets threatening ones friends an neighbours.
I'd much rather be dealing with someone who is a True Believer in what they espouse as opposed to someone who uses the symbology for mere shock value.
Why?

 I can't imagine why Marx wouldn't wear a hammer and sickle shirt - aside from the fact he died before such things existed.

That quote fails epically for one simple reason - those two Klansmen are not mutually exclusive. Outside of the boardroom the three-piece suiter is more than likely prepared to don the hood and go out with his flaming cross.
Oh it also fails because you seem fine to let racists in three piece suits decide the fate of young black people.

Symbols aren't inherently good or inherently bad. Symbols are objects, characters, or other concrete representations of ideas, concepts, or other abstractions.
Giving someone the thumbs up in one country is good and another country bad. They symbolize different things to different people. That meaning is usually socially determined.
We don't live in India.
