Know Your Rights

This is a public service announcement
With guitar
Know your rights!
All three of them
I say!
Know your rights!
Know your rights!
Know your rights!
All three of them
Number 1
You have the right to stay alive
Murder is a CRIME!
Whoever does it..
Except policemen
Or aristocrats
Catch that billionair
Number 2
You have the right to fish money
With a little compulsary computer investagation
Some ordinary human humiliation
And... if you cross your fingers
Rehabilitation!
Know these rights!
These are your rights!
Wang!
Young offenders
Know your rights!
Number 3
You have the right to free
Speech as long as you're not
Dumb enough to actually try it!
Ha!
Now
These are your rights
Study these rights.
These are your rights!
Know your rights!
Know your rights!
Know your rights!
All three of them!
Ha!
Be warned
In most places even these
Are thought to be excessive!
So..................
Get off the streets!!
Get off the streets
Run!
Get off the streets!
Don't you have a home to go to?!
Shmush!
Finally then I will read you your rights..
You have the right to remain silent
And you are warned that anything you say
Can, and will be taken down!
And used as evidence against....
You!
Listen to this...
Run!!!!!

Should I Stay Or Should I Go

Followed closely by I Fought The Law, they had the best version of the song.

The Dead Kennedys did, actually. They changed the lyrics around to "I fought the law and, I won!" Which I thought was awesome.

London Calling.

Guns of Brixton, no doubt
Yup.

When they kick out your front door
How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun

When the law break in
How you gonna go?
Shot down on the pavement
Or waiting in death row

You can crush us
You can bruise us
But you'll have to answer to
Oh, Guns of Brixton

The money feels good
And your life you like it well
But surely your time will come
As in heaven, as in hell

You see, he feels like Ivan
THROWN under the Brixton sun
His game is called survivin'
At the end of the harder they come

You know it means no mercy
They caught him with a gun
No need for the Black Maria
Goodbye to the Brixton sun

You can crush us
You can bruise us
But you'll have to answer to
Oh-the guns of Brixton

When they kick out your front door
How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun

You can crush us
You can bruise us
And even shoot us
But oh- the guns of Brixton

Shot down on the pavement
Waiting in death row
His game was survivin'
As in heaven as in hell

You can crush us
You can bruise us
But you'll have to answer to
Oh, the guns of Brixton
Oh, the guns of Brixton
Oh, the guns of Brixton
Oh, the guns of Brixton
Oh, the guns of Brixton

As an old Clash fan favorites have changed alot of times, however I think "I'm Not Down" is one of their greatest tracks

I'd have to say London Calling. But, I would give a close second to Rock the Casbah, simply because it makes me want to dance like a moron.

Note: I have not listened to every Clash song, I've mostly listened to the singles.

Washington Bullets and Spanish Bombs... Also the Guns of Brixtons stays a classic (although i actually prefer the cover by the Dropkick Murphies)

I don't think I could pick just one.

WashingtonBullets
25th August 2007, 15:56
Washington Bullets / Complete Control / Clash City Rockers

Pretty difficult to pick a favourite though. With the Clash being so versatile with their original punk stuff on the London calling album to the more obscure and reggae stuff on the Combat Rock album.

London Calling and Give ‘em Enough Rope are the best two albums in my opinion.

Terminator X

I have to do a top 5:
