Hello friends.

I just came across this forum and have to admit there is some VERY interesting reading.

My poilitical leanings have always been, shall we say, left of centre and I have suffered personal and public abuse and harrasment as a result. I'm sure those of you here who are activists will know exactly what I mean.

Anyway, I've got a lot of reading (and learning) to do.

You are not alone on these boards, most of us are active in one way or another and know the persecution of the Right.

Whether it be something small like being made fun of at school and being called a "Commie", or a "Red", or whatever, or getting the shit kicked out of us by police during generally peaceful protest, you are not alone.
