Personally, true to my philosophy of "everything that is good comes from Germany" I must answer synth. In college, I was a member of an unofficial trench-coat mafia. Right now, it is pathetically enough Blutengel that is my favourite band in that genre.

I answered hiphop as that's my favourite genre in general... Although, a lot of the mainstream hiphop isn't really to my taste - I have no great affinity for gangsta rap either... I much prefer the more underground/old school stuff...

As far as popular music goes, I quite like the dance/house stuff, r 'n' b... KISS fm really...
