There are increasing worries about the power that Google already has now over the Internet, and how much it knows about you and your tracks you leave behind on the Internet, and how google uses it for their own purposes. This is where Scroogle (http://www.scroogle.org/cgi-bin/scraper.htm) comes into play, a privacy-friendly version of Google that I just stumpled upon. This is how it works:

Scroogle sets no cookies, doesn't record your search terms, and deleres it's access logs after 24 hours.
