This is State Terrorism because Hitler was the one who had ordered that all Jews be either killed or captured, whichever struck the Gestapo's fancy. They ended up vandalizing, mostly breaking all the windows of Jewish shops (hence the name Kristallnacht), and burning down 267 synagogues, as well as 30,000 Jews being taken to concentration camps. It doesn't say how many were killed, but it does mention that there were many deaths.

Though this was a pogrom (riot), it was commited mostly on Hitler's orders.
