Blackwater USA and University of Illinois Police Training Institute Announce Partnership

Moyock, NC – Blackwater USA is pleased to announce its newly formed partnership with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Police Training Institute (PTI). Together we will pursue international and domestic training opportunities to better equip law enforcement agencies and officers to serve their communities.


“We are always looking for opportunities to assist in the training of American law enforcement professionals,” said Blackwater Vice President for Training Jim Sierawski. “The University of Illinois PTI has a proven record of excellence in equipping officers to do their jobs as best as possible and we look forward to working with them.”


The agreement is for a five-year period. Areas of cooperation will include:


Exchange of faculty and instructors
Exchange of students
Joint research activities
Joint planning efforts
Participation in seminars and training and academic meetings
Exchange of materials and information
Special short-term academic programs

i fail to see why the police in their "official" role need to be trained like mercenaries.

but its clear enough that the united states government is preparing for heavy civilian resistance against them and getting the cops trained to become more agressive and violent then they already are.

Blackwater was originally formed as a private organization for both military and law enforcement tactical training so this is nothing new. It was only recently that they were contracted to do actual military work.

The military and police are already privatized. The US Government is, in effect, one large corporation which derives its income from it's customers ("tax" paying US citizens). Services it provides include schooling, infrastructure, security, etc.

It's only public in the sense that it forces all US Citizens to be it's customers. A monopoly it is.

Yeh this seems about right. I live in Chicago Suburb and I have seen a HUGE increase of cops patrolling around. If I go outside to ride my bike around for 10 minutes I usually by then have seen 2 cop cars already. Its crazy, I used to never see cops patrolling around and now all of a sudden they are EVERYWHERE.

it is a matter of time when not just in Chicago but in a whole world we have police states,everything what happend on politic stage is connect with political move which pronounce those radical methods like some kind exuse for giving to police deparments more authority over citizens,for example if they suspect on you rocker that you speak with one muslim in your neigborhoud you will be arrested becouse you help them to make terrorist attack,of course by the time when you convinced them that you are not terrorist you been already beaten by the cops,so be careful where you driving your bike and keep your eyes wide open :mellow:

you think thats bad were my gf lives their are cop EVERY WHERE! on bike in car on foot 24hrs 7dyas a week my freind. some times we jsut stand outside and count em' and give em nicknames

well if they are preparing for a civil war or "domestic terrorism" as they call it then we should be too. educating ourselves and others. equipting ourselves traing and so forth. Like what ultraviolence said there are cops outside my house all the time. you cant walk down the street w/o being questioned. As long as you are brown or black you are guilty of something .lets face it we need to arm ourselves or we are screwed.

That's always the scary thing. The mental-conditioning of the masses is just simply unbelievable at times. The mandate was passed here in New York where cops could randomly search people's bags on the subway and city buses and there was no outcry from the people whatsoever (none has searched mine as yet and it's a good thing too because they'd definitely get a resounding "no" if they ask me . . . which would probably cost me a trip to the police-station).
