does anyone here know why OR IF the Chavez's government has investigated the murders that happened during the 2002 coup???
I know there were some pro chavez people killed as well as some anti-chavez. BUT did they ever find out who were the snipers that shot and killed Chavez supporters???

The snipers were rogue metropolitan police agents following orders of then Caracas opposition mayor, Peņa, who was involved in the Coup with some generals and the oligarchy. This plan made part of the coup: shooting random civilians and then blame the deaths on Chavez. Relatives of victims as wells as working class organizations are asking for justice, and sometimes they clash with bourguois institutions (such as the judiciary system) yet present in Venezuela. However, a brave government attorney, Danilo Anderson, who was investingating the coup plotters was blown to death some years ago by by former army generals.
