There are no 'normal' threads older than July 2016 as far as I can tell. Stickies like this may be older but in effect the 'old' site no longer exists.

I haven't done much searching around for specific topics but you might want to try searching through the Groups. http://www.revleft.com/vb/group.php there are some short but relevant discussions with additional info (links etc..) from knowledgeable users dating back past whenever the alleged cut off point was in 2013 or w/e.
