What do you think of the Communist Party USA? I've talked with some of their members, and they seem totally fucked up and lame. As far as I can tell, they're basically just liberals who believe we'll make the revolution happen by sitting on our asses and not doing anything. And last I heard, they endorsed the democratic party. Discuss!

That's exactly what they are. I thought I'd give them a chance and joined a while back, but they don't do anything as far as I can tell. I left because they are a seemingly inactive group (I don't even want to call them a party).

Possibly we can have PSL and other Marxist-Leninist parties get their members to infiltrate the CPUSA until they become 2/3 of the members of the CPUSA, then, when that happens, show your true identity and manipulate their party constitution that says Party Policy can change with a 2/3 majority opinion.

That to me seems like a monumental waste of time. The CPUSA has marginal influence at best, and that's within the hardline leftist community. Nevermind where they rate in terms of the other more mainstream parties.

That's not necessarily true. It seems United for Peace and Justice's non-radical politics is very much a reflection of CPUSA influence in that antiwar organization.

Yeah, the CPUSA and their youth group are totally defunct. All they are is a website now, and a cheerleading one for the Democrats at that. That's how they identify themselves now. No socialism, no revolution, just vote for the donkey. They don't even see them as the "lesser of two evils" anymore, it needs to disolve so that some real communists can at least have the name.

CPUSA (http://www.revleft.com/index.php?showtopic=51266&hl=CPUSA)

The CPUSA is little more than a reformist party with lots of rhetoric.

Agreed with everything stated above.

They are just Stalinists turned social democrats/reformers. The party does not deserve the support of the working class.
