Freetown Christiania

Okay so I was wandering around on Wikipedia and I came across this town and I was wondering if any of you ever heard of it before or know anything about it. So far from what I've read, it seems interesting.

I think it is similar to the squatters in Berlin, only it's a sorts of "town". The authorities have talked about putting it down for years. Oh well...
