I'm new, but one thing strikes me as interesting. Cuba, a Communist country, relies on US, British and other capitalist countries' purchasing power and dollars. The Cubans rely on tourists and they form a vital part of the Cuban economy. How do you reconcile the fact that Cuba relies on $ & Capitilism, to pay for it's health service, army etc, yet is Communist?

there is an edit button at the top of your post.
As for your question, the import and export of goods does not make a nation capitalist. Cuba is an island and is unable to produce everything it needs itself so it needs to trade for what it needs.
It is only when the trade of these goods is done for profit of share holders and not the producers (workers) who work for wage labor that it is capitalist.
The answer lies in how this profit is distributed in Cuba, not the fact that Cuba participates in international trade.
