You have to be more specific.

Rebels, defined in the least, would be people who defy against a certian system, government, or authority. This means that rebels can be of any ideology, from anarchist to fascist. Whether or not I would support rebels relies on the condition that I agree with the cause they are fighting for, and how they are fighting for it.

A revolution on Latin-America? Again, be more specific. The entire area at once, or s specific country? How would this revolution be carried out, and what would it's goals be?

as Donut Master has said... What group are you talking about? There are many different groups in Latin America. Are we supposed to just support any group because they call themselves "Socialist"? How do I know you aren't talking about National Socialist rebels?

THere is a fine line when describing rebels. What one group considers an army may be considered a group of rebels by someone else.

is a rebel a person with a weapon or a voice of opinon? if its the latter then i'm one and i think most people are if its a person with a gun fighting the government or occupying forces then they would be terroists i'm all for them if i believe in there cause, long live che!

Well Terrorism and rebellion isn't quite the same. Terrorism - you'd be killing innocent people and actually inducing terror among civilians to achieve your goal (eg. hijacks and stuff), the revolution is something different, that is killing off the people concerned who oppose your ideology, you wouldn't be terrorising the people but terrorising only those who oppose you.

Rebels are nowadays seen more as Terrorists, but I agree if someone if fighting for True Socialism/Communism then they should be supported

yeah because rebels produce the fucking drivel u read in newspapers, thus increasing our moanyness about capitalist propaganda, and making us fight against it.

Pff, this thread is kinda pointless, your given area to discus about is way to big.

A rebel is a soldier of the opposition, altough that's how I see it.

A rebel can carry a gun, a rebel can be authoritian, a rebel can be captalistic, communistic, nationalistic.

So be a little more specific, plz.

Edit: What's a "true socialist"?
