I always wanted to see Rammstein live, but with Till Lindemann gone...I dunno man...it wont be the same anymore. Apparently En Esch from KMFDM/Slick Idiot will replace him...knowing KMFDM I hope Rammstein wont become a US focussed band who do a million US tours and also seperate tours in each major US city while Europe and the rest of the world would get some shitty second rate tour once every decade or so...

Bleh...Im sad now, Till Lindemann really made Rammstein!

Damn. I had no idea this would happen anytime soon. My knowledge of the German language is horrible (I often have to rely on translations), but I have really been getting into German rock and metal (Rammstein, Oopmh!, Stahlhammer, Megaherz, Eisbrecher) due to all of the new metal over here in the US being utter crap. I hope this doesn't mess the band up, as I would hate to see one of my favorites end up going to crap.

Dont worry about that, En Esch is German too, so the German lyrics will probably stay, but for some reason I cant imagine him being as intense as Till

No new lead singer can replace Till Lindemann.

"On the 13th of July 2007 Blabbermouth.net announced that Till Lindemann, Rammstein's original vocalist, would be leaving the band. According to the website, the band said, "Till's decision is mainly based on the increasing inharmoniousness within the band and was well deliberated. He will head now for other challenges which can be a solo career or maybe a new project (as of his own words)." Till would remain as a member of the band until their upcoming album is released, after which he will be replaced by En Esch. "

I'd also add to the mix that band members have said that they would only continue under the name Rammstein if all the current members remained, and that they couldn't see the band working with a member missing or a new member. It seems odd that they'd change their minds, especially considering that a few of them have side projects that they could go and work on.

Or maybe I'm just trying to convince myself that this isn't true? :P

COUNTERSTATEMENT REF. „TILL LINDEMANN LEAVES RAMMSTEIN“

Since the rumour did alarm people that Till Lindemann would leave Rammstein after the release of the upcoming album, we are pleased to inform you that after consulting Rammstein manager Emanuel Fialik, the so-called news turns out being a fake.

„Neither Till Lindemann nor another band member plans to leave Rammstein. The band is currently working on the next album and is in an excellent mood. As the greed for news is the actual doping in cycling, this 'news' is only serving those who spread the same. Though the world knows now that EnEsch has moved to Berlin, even the poor EnEsch was shocked by the outlook to have to step into Till Lindemanns footsteps. I hope he and the fans of the band will recover soon from this false report.“
