I'm under the impression that the drivers at the company I work for are getting payed less per mile, than the state minimum. They have no idea if they are being underpaid, but some have "heard" they are.

ever mile they travel while doing deliveries for the company they get paid .32 cents a mile. I heard that this has gone up to mayb .48 cents a mile. not a BIG change. but significant and worth requesting.

SO! where can i find out what the rate per mile is in California?

which doctor

That's actually a pretty big jump.

If a trucker drives 600 miles in one day, he would normally get paid $192. With the increase to .48 cents, he would be now making $288. Almost $100 more.

As for a minimum rate per mile, I don't know. Your best bet would be to email the California Department of Industrial Relations.

Also remeber thos number are before taxes. In the first case it would probably be just a bit over a hundred and the second probably a bit below two hundred. I guess it depends on what state taxes are as well as the income tax.

According to this (http://www.dpa.ca.gov/textdocs/freepmls/PML2006045.PDF), CA state employees get $0.485 per mile for reimbursement
