What did people think about Shooter? I thought really liked two parts of it:
1). When the senator is talking to Mark Wahlberg about how "there are no shiites or sunnis, no democrats and replublicans, just haves and have-nots". It's extremely rare that a mainstream movie would make this class-based statement. I thought it was awesome that they did.
2). At the end when the senator is saying ' you can't do this, i'm a united states senator' and then wahlberg says 'exactly' and shoots him.
I also really appreciated the fact that the movie didn't end with the 'good guys' working for the government solving the problems and taking care of the 'rotten apples', as is the case in so many other movies. I enjoyed the fact that the government did nothing, and Wahlberg had to diss out some justice himself.
I recommend that you watch it. It's downloadable via torrents.
