Recently I read Richard J.Evans book, The Third Reich in Power. Quite good, details how the Nazis maintained control, while attacking the prevalent myth that Hitler was loved by the Germans and totalitarian measures were based on consent of the people etc.
There was an interesting claim about the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact I haven't heard before - that Stalin deported KPD members he opposed to the Nazis as part of the agreement. Does anyone have any sources on the alleged deportations?
