Never Give In

I'm writing this little essay on getting started in Activism, I'm just kind of letting things come to mind. It's sort of for the beginner, but they would need some sort of knowledge of Leftism. I tell what Capitalism is, but I don't explain each and every Leftist theory. Perhaps I should. It's not done yet, this is just what I have so far. I have much left to do.
An opinion is much more than having something to say, it is more than having the ability to interject on any subject you please. It is an idea, a thought on how a process in life could be changed to function better or more conveniently. All people, no matter their race, wealth, religious beliefs, social class, age, or any other distinction, are entitled to an opinion. This opinion, once it is spoken and once it is heard, can change other opinions into a central idea, which would eventually form into an ideology that can change life as we know it. With that being said, I will move on to saying that I am a young person with much to learn. But I have an opinion on that which I am about to write about, so let me express it as I see fit.
I will begin by stating the purpose of this article. This is an assault on all injustices committed by the State, which I will call, referring to Marxist theory, the bourgeois. This is a wake-up call to the common man, the working class, which I will call, also referring to Marxist theory, the proletariat. I will expose what I see as unjust Authoritarianism, as well as explain how to combat it, or, at least, keep it out of your life and your affairs.
The bourgeois is, according to the theories of Karl Marx, the social class that owns the means of producing wealth and is regarded as exploiting the working class. In other words, especially in the United States of America, the bourgeois is the Capitalist State and the Politicians that run it. One who is a member of the bourgeois social class is a bourgeoisie.
The proletariat is, according to the theories of Karl Marx, the social class that consists of the workers whose only asset is the labor they sell to an employer. The proletariat can also be classified as one who is “overworked and underpaid”. One who is a member of the proletariat social class is a proletarian. The majority of people in the world are proletarians, which is why the necessity of the proletariat being saved from exploitation is so great.
Another less used social class is the petite bourgeois, which refers to the people who are neither bourgeois nor proletariat. The petite bourgeois is also known as the middle class. They do not own the means of production, nor are they exploited by the people who do. They are the working people, but they have better jobs and conditions. There are many people throughout the world who are petite bourgeois, but they would usually refer to themselves as proletarian because they do not own means of wealth, no matter how unexploited they are.
Now that you know the social classes, you need to know what Left-Wing politics are. You can call this the Revolutionary Left, Leftism, or just simply the Left. This refers to any political theory that calls for the support of political and social change. This includes Social Democracy, Socialism, Communism, Syndicalism, Communalism, Communitarianism, Libertarian Socialism, Left-Libertarianism, Anarchism, some forms of Populism, Anti-Colonialism, Green Politics, most forms of progressivism, and the Religious Left. Marxism, Leninism, and Trotskyism could be called Leftist “parties”, though they are named after people and are usually used as a category that which many Leftist parties reside under (For example, Socialism and Communism are Marxist). Leftism always stands for the proletariat and never condones the bourgeois. The “hammer and sickle” symbol associated with Communism, Socialism, and the USSR, actually refers to the entire Left-Wing and the proletariat social class. The hammer stands for the exploited industrial worker and the sickle stands for the peasants and farmers.
The next thing you must be educated on is your opposition. Capitalism is your main enemy and in order to form a strong argument, you must know the theory somewhat, at least it’s basis and it’s flaws. I will explain the latter here. Capitalism is simply an economic system in which the production and distribution is privately owned, and is fully motivated by profit. Without profit, a Capitalist business fails. It is characterized by a competitive market and lots of space for blasphemy and greed. In the words of Malcolm X, “It is impossible for Capitalism to survive, primarily because the system needs blood to suck. Capitalism begins as an eagle, but slowly becomes a vulture. It used to be strong enough to go and suck anybody’s blood whether they were strong or not. But now it has become more cowardly, like the vulture, and can only suck the blood of the helpless.” He means that Capitalism takes more and more and flourishes for a while, but after a while it becomes a greedy scavenger, taking whatever it can get. Any country held by the grip of Capitalism too long can fall apart once the proletariat’s blood is sucked dry.
Revolution is a drastic change in Government, sometimes complete change of Government. Usually, Revolution is not accepted by the administration in office, so it is achieved with violent methods. War is not the only option in a Revolution, but it is definitely the most effective. If you support Leftism, then you also support Revolution towards it, therefore you are also known as a Revolutionary. As a Revolutionary, you will become a member of a (or, another) minority group. You will have to accept that the Political path you are taking requires actual Activism besides voting, donating money, etc. A true Revolutionary joins local organizations as well as national, and participates in its functions. The first thing you should do to contribute to social and political change is see how you can help organizations in your area as well as your country. The largest Leftist operations are AntiFa (a Militant Anti-Fascist Organization), the Anarchist Federation, the Communist League, and the World Socialist Party. These are organizations that you can take part in any place in the world. You will have to look around and research for more local organizations.
An important component in Revolutionary Activism is to have a community of like-minded people that encourage and act on the same issues you do. If you were, say, an Anarchist, that doesn’t mean that you cannot have a Socialist Comrade. You are both working towards the destruction of the State, so you can work together accordingly. What happens after Revolution is decided by what Leftism achieves it. It is all about Anti-Capitalism and Revolutionary Unity for now. It is wise to comprise your Comrades of mainly people who believe in the same Leftism, but it is also wise to embrace all Revolutionaries, whether they be Communist, Socialist, Syndicalist, Anarchist, Libertarian, or any other variation of the vast Left-Wing, they will stand along side you in the name of the abolition of Capitalism and the State.
