Its work in progress, but I thought in the spirit of things with it being the night it is, I should post it now. Hope you like! -

'Rainy Eleventh'

In the summer months, of that eleventh night,
the apes were out in their glee
with their pile of wood reaching up to the sky
and songs in their heart of bigotry,
with their children locked and blindfolded
to the truth of history,
No man could force down this wall.

So we'll pray long and hard to Connelly above,
and the four winds around,
that the storm of thor will resound,
and that the rain will fall in
torrents to the ground,so
the tricolour will not burn,
but fly defiantly o'er head!
and with a song in our hearts that final verse,
will belong to the soldiers in red!
