What Marxist (or communist) groups are there in Mexico, how large are they, and how active are they...?
I'm curious.

Theres probably too many to describe in detail, so I'll give you a list of Wikipedia links. How large they are: very difficult to know due to lack of group's publishing that number. How active they are: also difficult to know since much of their activity is probably be local. For those questions you will probably have to dig a little deeper with your own research.
Official parties:

Trotskyists:

You should also look into the EZLN (Zapatistas) and APPO (Oaxacan People's Assembly). While holding no official ideology both of those organizations are rather revolutionary and influenced by Marxism significantly.

Check out Militante (http://www.militante.org/) , they exist in real life unlike some of the groups mentioned. And they have ties with the occupied factory movement all over Latin America

Indeed. It was Militante that the Mexican bourgeoisie were terrified of and attacking them in the media, depicting them as "urban guerrillas," etc.) in an attempt to turn public opinion against them.

Well, if you want to visit web-sites in Spanish, French, or German, you can use Google Translate (http://www.google.com/translate_t). It usually work's pretty well, but it will sometimes make mistakes. I visited a few French sites the other day...
Miltante Page (English converted from Google Translate) (http://www.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.militante.org%2F&langpair=es%7Cen&hl=en&ie=UTF8).
