Asia and Africa Studies class

I live in a right-wing agricultural area. Naturally, it is therefore filled with racist folk, but this took the cake.

My school will be offering an Asia and Africa Studies class. However, the only African country on the list of countries that will be studied is South Africa. Should I bring attention to this, or just let it be?

I see nothing wrong with inquiring on why only one African nation is studied.
