Can i ask, what is the difference between rap and hip hop?

Well hip hop is the lifestyle. Things that "are" hip hop are rap, urban art or graffiti, breakdancing, and beatboxing. So rap is more or less the music in hip hop.

Rap is a way of vocalising that is used outside of hip-hop aswell.
