This is a film about an ambulance driver / paramedic in New York city who is losing his mind. Did any of you watch it? What do you think about it?

I saw it awhile ago. Good film, as I recall. I hear the book is really amazing as well.

I just really loved this movie and the atmosphere it had. It wasn't really a very easy watch but it was worth watching it. It is sort-of sad that there are so few replies :(

I saw the movie back in the late nineties. I remember that Nicholas Cage was quite good in it, but that's about it.

I have yet to see a film where Nicholas Cage can be described as anything better than 'mildly shit'. I haven't seen this film, but I find it very difficult to imagine Nicholas Cage actually being able to act.

He's good in some of his older movies. Rent Raising Arizona, Wild at Heart, Moonstruck and Leaving Las Vegas. The movies he's been in since the late nineties have been crap, however.

Cage is at his best when not cast as an "action hero".

Nicolas Cage is amazing in Adaptation. One of my favorite performances and movies of all time, although I will say that Chris Cooper is even better in it. Raising Arizona is also good.
