The US, as we know, has provided the overwhelming majority a culture that occupies the working class. It serves as an escape mechanism, a diversion, fills a void of human connection caused by the inherent greed and individuality underlying basis of American Capitalism. They buy into it, as a quick, cheap way to get their fix of their humanity, even if it is only fabricated. Maintained by the elite who construct their perception and world around them, plundering the third world of natural resources to maintain this decadent spectacle.

How long can it last?
What happens when the resources that maintain the blindfold on the beholders eyes from the grand masquerade come off?
Is another "great depression" the only way the people's consciousness can come about?
Is this the ideal time for revolution?
How long before this happens, if at all?

When the great majority of people are pissed off on capitalism, only then can there be a revolution. So long capitalism have support, or indiference, people won't listen to other arguments. Specially now, just 15 years after the "fall of communism"...

Major unrest and dissent is inevitable whenever any state experiences massive economic troubles.

Is this the ideal time for revolution?
No.

How long before this happens, if at all?
That's not a question that can be answered by any of us.
