In the last couple of days I have been reading about RAAN on their "unaffiliated" website redanarchist.org. I think they make some very good points but was wondering if in the few years theyve been operating if they have done anything significant like protests, civil disorder(I guess like the parking meters), or if they have a lot of RAANistas running about?

I'm not a member of RAAN and do not speak for them.

I understand, they have been around for a number of years (2002). They have cells across the US and Canada, and a couple of affiliate groups in Venezuela and Australia. They don't have a membership list, so you can't get an exact number.

As well, a quick search for RAAN on this website turns up a bunch threads.

I'm glad to hear you are interested. There is an incomplete list of reported actions on redanarchist.org:

http://www.redanarchist.org/history/index.html

RAAN cells have done things such as raising money for campaigns, prisoner support, to organzing demonstrations for the homeless. The nature of RAAN is to create an environment of support, while granting the individual affiliate with maximum autonomy. The result is that responsibility ultimately lays on you to act and organize.

PM me with where you live and I can tell you I know of any RAAN affiliates in your area.

Also, I know you were asking for the history of the group, but this will probably get moved to another forum.
