Hey. I'm new here, I young teen in his second year of college. I'm from NYC, I'm Latino, Bolivian to be exact, my mama rasied me here in NYC but I go there (Bolivia) every now and then.

My idols include:

El Che - a person who was WAY WAY WAY ahead of his time and ours, also being latino, i feel some pride

Lenin - another person ahead of his time, I loved it when he stated how the highest form of capitalism was imperialism.

Fidel Castro - I see some love him, some hate him here. I know he is accused by many here of making state capitalism but I believe he does what he does for survival of socialism in a globalized captialist dominated world. Castro is a hero. Remember, there are devils to the north who will strike such the guard be let down. I worry of whats to happen after his death......hopefully he learns from history (Lenin to Stalin) and he addresses it. Knowing Fidel, there is already a plan in motion. The man is not stupid.

Hugo Chavez - He may not be a total communist like many of us would like but he is a friend of ours IMO. Again he is doing what must be done to survive in the evil presense of captialism (US to the North, Facist Colombia to the west, etc) and he has done plenty to empower the working class. Remember, that asshole Pedro Carmona had the coup, the PEOPLE brought Chavez back to power. He has empowered the people and it will only get better. Socialism will have a model and hopefully Venezuela will be it.

I would like to call myself a marxist-leninist. I will say, I still have much to learn. But I know this, capitalism is an evil that must be eliminated. I hope to have good times in here.

I also wouldn't mind telling off some of those rightists who post here. But it's not the first time I encounter people like that. I also post in sports fourms and anytime politics come up in their, the "Reagan cocksucking" begins. I battle it, alone and I make them look stupid. lol

So all that's left to say is..........hello.

Welcome to rev-left, comrade.
I can see that there is a lot for you to learn, but then again...we are all learners.

I agree with your positions on Che, Lenin, Fidel and Hugo Chavez. If you have any questions, do post them in the "Learning" forum on rev-left, or send a Personal Message (PM) to any of us.

Have fun, keep learning, get active in the movement, remain in solidarity with comrades worldwide, keep up the revolutionary spirit.

I'll share with you a passage written by one of the greatest Marxist-Leninists from South Asia:

It requires neither emotion nor death, but a life of constant struggle, suffering and sacrifice. Crush your individuality first. Shake off the dreams of personal comfort. Then start to work. Inch by inch you shall have to proceed. It needs courage, perseverance and very strong determination. No difficulties and no hardships shall discourage you. No failure and betrayals shall dishearten you. No torments imposed upon you shall snuff out the revolutionary will in you. Through the ordeal of sufferings and sacrifice you shall come out victorious. And these individual victories shall be valuable assets of the revolution.
