Day one of the Brown beaureacracy, and big steps are in place already to 'split' the education ministry in half, between schools and universities the theory being it will reduce the burden on each and create more 'skilled' workers. My fear is this will only create more beaureacracy and class disparity within what is already a multiple teir system. No talk yet of bringing the troops back home, of course.

I hate Blair, just to establish that. However my hatred of Blair is nothing compared to how much I hate reactionary, patrionising fat-cat snob David Cameron. I think Brown is weak, and won't be able to hold off his challenge. Blair, for all his faults - and there are many - is a far better speaker than Cameron. Therefore Blair would be the right man to hold off Cameron in parliament - out of Brown and Blair that is. I wanted Left MP John Macdonell to win the leadership anyway. Brown will lead another 'New Labour' (tory) government, then get beaten and be replaced by a bastard that is openly tory. Now matter how Blair and Brown want to hide it, they are still traitors to the name 'Labour'; yet the essence of the Labour Party leader's since its first government in 1920 (starting with Ramsay Macdonald) has been treacherous. Their duty is the working-classes, not to make concessions for the bourgeoisie (which is exactly what they have done - perhaps Atlee can be excluded). I have no faith in Brown whatsoever

One bourgeois politician replacing another.

I react more to Blair becoming middle east envoy.

If you look at history, the Labour party has had a tradition of doing the dirty on the working class movement. It is a reformist party, and will therefore serve as little more than the left vanguard of capitalist apologism. Regardless of the best intentions of the back bench rebels, it will never become a vehicle of revolutionary ideas. Anyone who believes a revolution can occur through the establishment apparatus or through parliament is gravely mistaken. In that sense for us, it really is a moot point who governs. Who governs only really matters in terms of bread and butter issues but not for long term political objectives.

Sorry mate I wasn't clear.

By 'what they have done' I meant they have always made concessions for the bourgeoisie, not defended the working class by any means. Although I hate parliamentary Liberal Democracy, and this pointless cycle of parties, I believe Labour, even though they are traiters to their name, are better than the liberals and the conservatives. Saying that I would fully support an overthrow of all of them.

What's so special about Tony Blair? Attlee carried out terror against the Malay people including decapitation of suspected freedom fighters. He also sent troops to assist the yank aggression against People's Korea. Wilson supported Vietnam (and sent troops into the six counties of Ireland). Michael Foot supported Britain's role in the Malvinas war. Kinnock supported the 1990 Gulf War (which included the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian population of Kuwait by the Kuwaiti parasites who had been living off the labour Palestinians performed in the oil fields and in the economy as a whole).

The Labour Party is an irredeemably imperialist party. It is responsible for war crimes and stirring up racism among white British people. A vote for Labour is equivalent to a vote for the BNP or the NF (British Fascist parties).

Gordon Brown seems to be more left leaning than his predecessor, and seeing as his predecessor was also a **** of the highest order...

In all seriousness Brown's already starting to cut the "special relationship" we have with the US, so that gets my approval.
