The Pakistani government first denied that it was a missile attack, and claimed (http://www.dawn.com/2007/06/20/top1.htm) that it was a local, accidental explosion.

Now they have accepted that it was a missile attack, and are saying that it targeted "Taliban militants".

Local leaders have angrily responded (http://www.dawn.com/2007/06/21/top10.htm) to that claim, and tried to refute it.

And now, the US media has been reporting that the attacks were conducted by a new US weapon (http://www.dawn.com/2007/06/21/nat1.htm), known as High Mobility Artillery Rockets (Himars).

So, 34 more innocent people are gone, the Pakistani regime continues to collaborate with US imperialism, and peddles the lie that people killed were "foreign militants".

And US imperialism doesn't give a fuck. It shoots first, and doesn't even bother to apologize.

This clearly shows the desperation of the US forces.

The life of US imperialism and its Pakistani Colloborators are numbered. These incidents are an indication to this.

Tariq Ali once talked to an ex-General while in Pakistan.

He told him: Pakistan was the condom the Americans needed to enter Afghanistan, we've served our purpose and they think we can be just flushed down the toilet.

Ali points out that since 9/11 and the start of the "War On Terrorism", the old condom is being fished out for use once again.

The simple fact is that American lives are worth more than those of Pakistanis, Iraqis, Afghans, Palestinians etc, etc.

This prevents local tribes from tracing the source of the fire and can save the government of Pakistan the embarrassment it faces when a rocket coming from Afghanistan is traced to a US military deployment.
Looks like the US and Pakistan are trying to prevent the fallout from the last missile attack which was traced to a US military weapon rather than a Pakistani attack as Musharaff claimed.

I know, I know, and seriously, its at times like this that I feel really, really annoyed.

It's one of the most annoying things in the WORLD to see idiotic Pakistani politicians trying to explain how they have our best interests at heart when they sell us out to the NATO camp.

And our Prime Minister, Shaukat Aziz, who worked for the World Bank before Musharraf selected him to help rule the country...he's such a bastard. Privatizing everything he can get his hands on.

Condoleeza Rice wrote in her new book that Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz tried to seduce her...

Of ALL the reactionary women he could find, he chose Condi. <_<

Anyhow, the worst part of all this is that when we talk about "Pakistan", we talk about 160 million people, whose wishes are totally ignored as we get pushed around like any other pawn for Imperialism.

They're keeping the details murky on purpose.

At first, they totally denied that it was even a missile attack. The first statement from the Pakistani government was that the explosion was caused by "foreign militants" who were trying to prepare explosives and that there was an accidental explosion which killed them. :P
