I recently saw the movie Sophie Scholl, and it was an excellent German anti-facist piece about the last six days of Sophie Scholl's life. If you do not already know her story she was part of the German anti-facist resistance against Hitler, specifically part of a group called the white rose. Her brother was also part of the group the white rose. They were caught by the janitor when they were dropping leaflets at the university they attended in Munich. After a long interragation process at the Gestapo HQ in Munich they were sent to the people's court where in a unfair trial, with the counsel of the defense being planted Nazis who said nothing to help the defense, and the judge yelling at them for being traitors before the defense even presented their case. They and their accomplice Christopher Probst are eventually put to death, for saying their mind. May all facists rot in hell for the crimes they have commited against humanity!

I saw it a few months back at Sixth Form, I was surprised it was only a PG.

Yeah I saw it awhile ago. I found it to be a unique and moving film. It was disturbing to watch their fathers unsuccessful attempt to stand up for them in court. Fantastic movie.
