Anyone have any info on Cyprus. I believe the Communist party is in government there.
Are they doing anything "radical"?
If the communist party are in power - why arnt we hearing anything much about this "proletarian dictatorship" ?

I think it is just another nationalist leftist party, nothing working class about it. Besides aren't they in coalition with ημοκρατικό Κόμμα (the Democratic Party)?

I wouldnt know tbh. It says on wiki...""Cyprus — Progressive Party of Working People — leads coalition government but does not control the presidency"".
I dont know much about them, thats why im asking.
There's alot of Marxist rhetoric on their website, and im wondering how that translates into what they are actually doing about it.

Based on their party platform and programme, they seem like another reformist democratic socialist party.

While it is definitely not a leftist nationalist party, there are quite a few reformists in the party, as there are reformists in most Communist parties around the world. There are a few revolutionaries in the party as well, but it seems they are a minority. I do not want to say much because I don't know too much about the situation.
