I am busy trying out some countrymusic since I heard Johnny Cash's "San Quentin"
So what is some good country and blues music?, or better yet good country-blues!
I've downloaded some John Lee Hooker, Ray Charles and Howlin' Wolf already.
Maybe some leftist blues or country, not per se has to be but that will be extra sweet.

The best country blues, delta blues, etc. is Robert Johnson. Also Son House.
I really like John Lee Hooker. Also try Muddy Waters and BB King.
I can't really tell you anything about country, but I agree that Johnny Cash is pretty great.

I also suggest Muddy Waters: what I've heard from him is interesting. I haven't listened too much from this artists though so I can't suggest much yet.
Concerning Johnny Cash, I have some sort of compilation of the Folsom/San Quentin shows, his first album and American Recordings, and his best songs are amazing. I wonder if he has more worthy stuff in his discography.
