I want to create a database of examples of how the bourgeois state is in reality a dicatorship no matter what bullshit they talk about democracy and people's rule. The format I would like to see this put in is the event in bold caps and then a few sentences with links chronicling the event. Everyone should pitch in.

I'll Start

THE MURDER OF FRED HAMPTON

Fred Hampton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/) was murdered by the FBI and Police for being a leader of the Black Panther Party. His murder is chronicled in This Film (http://www.revmedia.net/tmfh.html)

With the growth of mass media you should look more to financial requirements for successful election campaigns at a national level. The days of poor country folk like Lincoln becomming president have passed as it now requires millions for radio/television advertising.

Ah, I love that video Henry, Fred Hampton is one of them revolutionaries that I highly esteem. He's on my locker and I always remind people who he was and what he did and why the motherfucking pigs killed him.

And I even gave a speech that he wrote, for my English final and got a 210/200 on it!

The only thing that I don't like about Fred is that he commonly referred to communism as a "utopia" or as the "communistic state", which we know to be a contradiction in terms.

He also took on more of a moralistic definition of capitalist, I believe he said that a capitalist was any person that went into the community to make profit off of the people and exploit them. I mean, that could be your regular coke dealer for all we know.
