Introducing myself here with pleasure and anticipation: a marxist, living in Tilburg, the Netherlands, born in 1961. Writer (two weblogs, one in Dutch, one in English); musician (guitar, voice); activist (member of the Internationale Socialisten (http://www.internationalesocialisten.org) in the Netherlands. That would make me some kind of Trotskyite, would it not? :trotski: ). And it's all connected...
Inspirations: Bob Dylan, Vladimir Ilyitch Lenin, Cindy Sheehan, Paul Goodman, Nick Drake, Noam Chomsky, Pete Seeger, Leon Trotsky, Neil Young, Allen Ginsberg, Jonathan Neale, William Blake, Phil Ochs, .... not necessarilky in that order, and very incomplete as well...
And of course: bonobo s! Those primates should be an inspiration to us all. I mean: when they have conflicts, when they quarrel, they don's primarily fight, as the capitalists do and make us do; they don't primarily argue and debate, as we rebels do endlessly, sometimes fruitlessly but at the same time inevitably; no, they have sex, in all its pleasant varieties - for fun, basicaly, not just (for) procreation. Now, THAT I call civilised behavior. :wub: :blush: =D
