Ted Grant- The Spanish revolution, http://www.marxist.com/History/Spanishrev.html
I'd also reccomend George Orwell's Homage to Catolonia

Don't you mean The Spanish Labyrinth by Brenan? It is considered a classic on the time period. It doesn't cover the revolution itself, but the conditions that led up to the revolution in the years prior.

Your correct that I am confused - sorry about that, but your telepathic powers need a slight refinement - I meant Franz Borkenau The Spanish Cockpit......The Spanish Labyrinth is good though.

I second Orwell's Homage to Catalonia.

It's a little hard to find nowadays, but Sam Dolgoff's "The anarchist collectives; workers’ self-management in the Spanish Revolution, 1936-1939" put out by Free Life Editions takes a pretty neat view on things.
