This is not in Music because its about the politics of jello biafra, and has nothing to do with the Dead Kennedys.
What are your thoughts on Jello-Biafra? he claims to be an anarchist and such but he was a candidate for presidency under the Green Party ballot. can he truly be an anarchist if he tries to comply with a system of representative democracy by means of reformism in a capitalist state?

I doubt he was complying with the system so much as trying to get his message ehard in whatever way he can.
If that is what he was doing he is a lot smarter than some anarchists I can think of. There is a reason leninism historically has much more support.

Given that his chances of being elected was nil, i think that's a pretty hollow criticism.

Lol, yeah - because it was the official ideology of one of the two 20th century super powers!
Oh right no... it's coz leninism has some kind of mystical mojo that just enchants workers everywhere... or maybe it's just coz dialectics rule?
Or maybe it's coz it was the official ideology of a super-power (well two super-powers really).

It is because it is better at presenting it's case. Whether that be by having a super power onside or simply by knowing how to work the system. Case in point, how many Leninists have regular accss to the western media today and how many anarchists?
Willingness to run for office and get the attention that goes with this is part of the reason.

*nods* There's a difference between running in an election with a view to winning, and running in an election with a view to spreading propaganda.

Jello and I go way back; we been chillin' since before I was in high school, and all my friends do too. We spin his records all the time, which brings up a sad point; Jello Biafra is not only a self-described anarchist, he's also a blanket leftist, and, most crucially, a CAPITALIST! That's right, Jello Biafra is the proud owner of Alternative Tentacles Records, from whence all of his funds come from.
He's a very outspoken leftist, certainly has the gift of gab, but those are the facts. Plus his style is very outlandishly entertaining, but his politics don't seem to call into question private property, atleast not his own. His campaign for Mayor of San Francisco was more successful, however.

Here's the whole quote:
I am an anarchist in my personal life. I try to live my life in a way that I don’t need cops or baby-sitters to keep me from infringing on others. But I don’t feel we have evolved far enough as a species to make anarchy work in society itself. We still need government to transfer the wealth from those who have too much to those who have too little, to make sure important projects get done, and keep territorial humans from screwing over and killing each other.
