What is the human being according to communism?
Where do we stand in the great universe?
Who are we?
Are we?
One of the greatest lacks of communism theoreticians is that it completely ignores the human value
the human mind and body
the human
it leaves it standing somewhere it the abyss of economy and politics

Well, Marx wanted to avoid the previous idealistic deffinitions that contradicted themselves and defined MAN basically as member of the economic group, that tries to satisfy his needs..Marx says that he has the cerebral capacity to decide his actions and choose what is moraly right or wrong....this is the maximum simplification.

"Where do we stand in the great universe?"
What does that question mean?
"Who are we?"
Inquisitive hairless primates.
"Are we?"
Are we what?
"Communism completely ignores the human value, the human mind and body, the human."
What does that mean?
"standing somewhere in the abyss of economy and politics"
How do you stand in an abyss?
Sorry, ravengod, I was just never any damn good at poetry.

All good questions Redstar, but I believe that he is reffering to the fact that Marx was a materialist and denied any previuos mysterious explanations of why we live and where we came from. I think, though I may be wrong.

Marx recognised humans for what we are. He was a materialist. He believed that a person is born, lives and then dies. As RedStar stated, we are basically just like any other animal - except with a more inquisitive nature, which leads to questions such as those put forward at the start of this thread.
