did anybody see this? It's about James Joseph Dresnok a US soldier who defected to North Korea in the 60s and is the only defector who remains in North Korea. I was surprised that the video cameras were actually allowed in..

I think that was on BBC 3 or 4 a few months ago. The images of North Korea were probably approved by the DPRK authroities before they could use them or something.

Saw it. Was amazed at how much the west lies to us about the standard of living there (not that Im arguing the DPRK is socialist). Im a bit dubious that it was censored because they managed to get him speaking off record. Did you see the part where they were all playing tin pin bowling? :D
