In socialism, how will the educational curriculum change? Will there be more of an emphasis on the humanities, rather than science and math classes? How will our history textbooks be written? Will the past prejudices of enslavement, genocide, and exploitation be viewed in full form? Will our teachers use the materialist conception of history to explain historical development in human society? Will the state establish some sort of standard when it comes to teaching our students; will we decimate certain courses as 'bourgeois' or 'non-Marxist'? Will committees of both students and teacher who are elected by a local worker's association determine these standards, or will some sort of elected authority determine national standards? Will parochial or otherwise private schools be allowed to exist? I am currently taking a class entitled "Tolerance", which engages students in discussion and makes them more conscious of discrimination and current events, will a course similar to this be required or made an elective?

No, science and math have proved themselves to be just as worthy (if not more so) as any other subject.

Yes.

As far as the structure of education goes, we've discussed this quite a bit before:
Schools (http://www.revleft.com/index.php?showtopic=66176&hl=+education++school*)

education and schools (http://www.revleft.com/index.php?showtopic=52689&hl=school*)

Will parochial or otherwise private schools be allowed to exist?
No, there will be no private schools.
