One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich

simple question: Is it a worthwhile read? I've looked it up on Wikipedia and it looks interesting but I would like info from somebody who's read it.

I read it and greatley enjoyed it. I'd say it was worth reading for an accurate portrayal of life in the gulags, withsatnding that Solzhenistsin was a reactionary and most of his other books probably aren't worth reading, from a political point of view at any rate.

Its a great little book - and lots of hs other novels are great too !
