I know there are two topics for this, but they are really old, and I cant' find them. But can anyone compile pictures of communist tattoo's, whether they are ones you have, or someone else has. This topic may serve as a reference point for those wanting to get a leftist themed tattoo, but don't really know what to get. I know it will for me.

I saw this program on the National Geographic about soviet prisoners and their tattoo's and the secret language it meant. Like a church would mean you are doing life, or spiderwebs meant that you were a drug addict. I saw one and it was two snakes intertwining on someones arm, and it meant that communism had a grip on you. I'd like to get that. If someone could find a pic of that though, if they know what program, and particular tattoo i'm talking about, that would be much appreciated.

I'd also like to get a hammer and sickle on my chest.

I read that Russian prisoners would tattoo Stalin, Lenin, and Marx, in the same fashion as the picture above, so that if they received the death penalty, they wouldn't recieve the firing squad, cause no soldier would dare put a hole through one of the leaders.

tattoos of any kind are a bad idea ..... easier for the police or other authorities to identify you .... just like gang tattoos, you get arrested once and they take photos or have descriptions of your tattoos and put them into the system.

ya, they might be "cool" but its a bit juvenile
