View Full Version : Need help to save my area!

My place of residence, Kingstanding. AKA fash paradise
It’s a place overrun by NF and combat 18 propoganda. Labour may have won the recent local election but the BNP weren’t that far behind. Now I’m starting to get worried that my area will finally fall to the fascist scum who have been bleeding it dry for years.
It’s mainly white people in ethnicity levels but I have seen a few black and asian people on its streets. Everyday I see swastikas and fascist material on lampposts and walls across the place. But the council never tears it down for fear of reprisal. To be honest I’m sick of it and want to take action but I’m alone. I’m one of the few left wingers I know out of 25,702 people that make up the ward. The majority are NF and BNP supporters. The rest are ignorant people who don’t vote.
The only reason labour recently won here is because I know the labour councillor (he’s a socialist) and we managed to find enough people to keep a fresh socialist labour in. But I fear its too late to stop the BNP taking next years seat. But we are (we?! that denotes we have more than 2) I am seriously outnumbered. Probably by 1 commie to 1000 fash ratio.
Any you guys got any advice on how to go about combating the fash around here?
Much thanks ITX

Brother I hate to suggest this but I think you should get the fuck outta there. Too much fash and no commie support network is not a could combo. If the BNP get elected and you alone speak out the local boneheads might decide to take action against you and then it just get shitty.

Start a one person guerrilla movement. Tear down there stuff, put up your own, and be carefull. Or you can go to more drastic measures... ;)

It doesn't have to be a communist effort and based on the stats, it looks like you might have to get some of the politically moderate/apathetic people involved as well.
Also, have you looked into contacting local antifascist groups for advice and support?

In such situations posters are best communicators. If you can't reach other revolutionarist hang up posters secretly at nights. Posters must contain inscriptions against boneheads. This is the best way because it's less risky. Good luck!

There's no way there can be only 2 of you! Try and find other Antifa activists...or even find some out of area to help you combat the fascists.
If that fails, put up your own info. Combat them (propaganda wise).
Best of luck, comrade.

try contacting the nearest antifa, and see if a few of them wouldn't mind going out of their way to beat down some fascists.
if that doesn't work, then my three word solution: molotov cocktails...everywhere

If the laws in your area allow you to, carry either a knife or gun with you and learn some hand-to-hand combat systems such as Krav Maga or Systema. This could be a good opportunity to radicalize the people of your area. At least in the beginning, give it just an anti-fascist look to it, not communist or anarchist so as to not alienate potential comrades. As time goes on though, you could make your politics more known.

You aren't allowed to carry guns or knives in public anywhere in the UK.

Can you apply for permits to do so? Anyway, you should still keep weapons in your home.

I think some people can get licenses, but that usually applies to people who use them for their job or an hobby that requires a gun.
I agree that people could hide them in their homes, but if the police find them they could get in trouble.

Wait, you can't have them in public and in your own home?

No, I mean if someone grasses or if the police have one of their "warrants" for something.

No possession of unlicenced firearms (in private or public) is a serious offence in the UK. Getting a licence is very difficult and not an option for most people.

Possesion of all weapons which would be potentially carried on the street is illegal from handguns upwards. Nowadays you can only really get a licence for a shotgun (if you are bloody lucky or a toff) but it must be kept in a secure gun cabinet, which must be concreted to the floor. Sawn offs are 100% illegal which rules those out so were pretty much fucked. Though there are lots of potential weapons which are legal and can be carried on the street the a good option is 2 50 pence pieces and a thin hankerchief makes an extremely effective knuckle duster and if you get stopped and searched all you've got is a snot rag and a handful of change.
