Hey, I'm girl#13, I'm 19 and from the UK, and I'm a friend of Jazzratts IRL, he's pretty much the reason I'm here, but I'm not quite as offensive (or amazing, depending on your opinion) as he is.
I'm quite into feminism and queer and gender theory, I also love English literature, and comics.

Hello girl#13, nice to meet you. I am also from the UK which is "great". Ignore what luxemburg said about Yeats.

I think Yeats' poetry is beautiful anyway. Talent is talent, and generally he didn't write about politics. He did do a poem about the Easter Uprising though which I quite like, and he pays some respect to the participants in that.

I did hear though that he supported some kind of fascist organisation called the blueshirts in Ireland. I also heard though that he supported the Republican government against the fascists in Spain. I think he was just confused. Maybe someone can shed more light on him. But an excellent, enjoyable poet.
