This photo does it no justice.
The painting is called " If you lived here you'd be bored by now". And its canvas with cheap oils and cheap acryllics, only the flesh tone oil paint wasn't cheap.

Very nice.

If you have a major craft store chain in your area, you could probably get all the free paint you can handle.

you're a very talented painter. Please post any other paintings you make. What's the orangy stuff under the chair though?

That's awesome- it's got this dreamy yet bleak quality- if that makes any sense whatsoever... People should share more artwork around here because it makes me happy. :P

Cool, im so jealous! I want to have painting skillz :P

My favourite bit is def the TV, it's so cute. I can just imagining it walking along them BAM! Getting smashed and tumbling back over itself :D

What's the orangy stuff under the chair though?

You can't really see it in this photo, and I don't have any better photos of it, so you realy can't make out that the chair is surrounded by roaches, beer cans and beer bottles-- so the puddle is beer. Its the first time I've painted beer, or even something like a liquid on a grassy surface. The beer froth in this photo looks like white blobs, you really don't get the idea of the texture, nor can you see the burned out match in his hand.

That does make sense, I had a dream of sea gulls with flaming beaks, and so I painted one on his lap. I painted a chest of drawers to fill space, but Dali painted drawers out of Freudian symbolism.

Really its not how well you can paint, its how you use the canvas.
