Now I'm by no means a fan of 28 days later, thought it was a load of rubbish, but I went to see the sequel today and I have to say it's awesome. While it contradicts the first movie in a few small ways, all in all the film is brilliant. It was quite graphic too (I was very surprised it was only rated 16s over here). I especially loved the bit where the military first lose control, when the virus is spreading throughout the enclosed crowd and the military turn their guns on the civilians. Has anyone else seen it? What do you think?

Havn't seen 28 weeks later, but I did enjoy 28 days later. Its not your typical zombie movie.

Bah. First one was a bit crap. One minute they're running for their lives; the next they're running around Budgens, ffs!
And it has a happy ending!

Actually there were two endings. And the second one doesn't have such a happy ending.

I thought 28 days later was brilliant, very tongue in cheek. Looking forward to the seeing 28 weeks too.

28 days later is was most definetly awsome, the zombies were like zombies actually, not that stereotipical slow ass brains eating zombies, quick sick ass zombies,i was wondering how did they managed to shoot the scenes in the begining where half of London was empty.thats pretty good. Anyways im definetly gonna bootleg the 28weeks later. Maybe even go see it in cinema.should be crack.

I saw it and thought it was ok, but I'm not a really big fan of zombie movies. There were a few plot devices in it that really made no sense and were totally improbable, but it wasn't too bad. 7 out of 10 i would say.
I liked the first one a lot better. There were too many things in the sequel that just don't make sense or are extremely improbable and detract from it. Its also more of an action movie than the first one, which I disliked. This one didn't appear to have much of a meaning.
Looking forward to the infected tearing up Paris though. ;)

Hmm doesnt the second one have Begbie from Trainspotting in there? I dunno...that would probably mean I will be having a harder time taking the movie seriously. I will get a mental picture of him goin with a really thick Scottish accent: "A FUCKING REPLICA RENTS!!!" when he sees the infected people.

Haven't seen this one yet, but I enjoyed the subtle political undertones of the first film. I'm a horror buff, and that and the original Dawn of the Dead are at the top of the proverbial zombie film foodchain in terms of thought content and social commentary.

Ahhh, but you have to admit the start was class, when they're in the boarded up cottage and she looks out and ... :o
